Returns made simple — 7 days, free pickup.
You can return a new product within 7 days of delivery if it arrives damaged, dead-on-arrival, or wrongly shipped. We arrange a free pre-paid pickup and send a fresh replacement (or a refund if the same item is no longer available). This page covers exactly what's eligible, the condition it must be in, and how to start.

This Return Policy is a companion to our Refund & Replacement Policy, which has the full detail on refund timelines, manufacturer warranty after day 7, Cash-on-Delivery rules and pricing corrections. The two policies are consistent — this page focuses on the return process.
Section 01
Return policy at a glance
- • 7 days from delivery to start a return on a damaged, dead-on-arrival, or wrong new product.
- • Free pickup. We arrange a pre-paid courier pickup — you pay nothing to send it back.
- • Unboxing video required. Single take, package + serial sticker visible, recorded within 24 hours of delivery.
- • Replacement first. Same item, shipped fresh. A refund is issued only if the same item is no longer available.
- • No change-of-mind returns on new products — electronics lose value once a sealed box is opened.
- • After day 7, new products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (we help you reach the service centre).
- • Refurbished items carry a 6-month dealbyu warranty under their own policy.
Section 02
Return window & eligibility
You can return a new product within 7 days of delivery if:
- It arrived physically damaged in shipping (cracked screen, dented body, broken accessories).
- It is dead on arrival — won't power on, fails first boot, or has a factory defect found on day-one use.
- It is the wrong item — different model, colour, storage / RAM, or missing the main accessories the listing promised.
- The sealed box was tampered with, and your unboxing video records it.
The 7-day clock starts on the date the courier marks your order delivered.
Section 03
What can't be returned
- Change of mind — you ordered it, it arrived as described, and you no longer want it.
- Issues that appear after the 7-day window on new products — these are handled under the manufacturer's warranty (see the Refund & Replacement Policy).
- Damage caused after delivery — drops, liquid damage, voltage spikes, third-party software issues, attempted self-repair, or removed warranty seals.
- Normal wear and consumables — cables, ear-tips, and batteries beyond first-boot DOA.
- Cosmetic complaints on refurbished items where the condition grade was disclosed up-front.
- Claims raised without the required single-take unboxing video.
Section 04
Condition the item must be in
To be accepted, the returned item must come back:
- in its original packaging, with all in-box accessories and free items;
- with the original invoice copy and any brand warranty cards;
- with serial / IMEI stickers and warranty seals intact (not peeled or defaced);
- accompanied by the unboxing video recorded within 24 hours of delivery.
If inspection shows the issue isn't covered (for example, impact damage or a software-only problem), we share photos and the reason and ship the item back to you free of charge.
Section 05
How to start a return
- Record an unboxing video within 24 hours of delivery — single take, no cuts, showing the courier package and label, opening the seal, the device serial sticker, and the issue.
- Message us on WhatsApp at +91 80511 11117 or email support@dealbyu.com with your order ID and the video link. We acknowledge within 1 working day.
- We arrange a free pickup via Shiprocket / Delhivery and email you the tracking number. Pack the item as described in Section 04.
- We inspect on arrival at our Bokaro service centre and share the inspection note within 2 working days.
- We ship your replacement within 3 working days of inspection — or refund you if the same item is unavailable.

Section 06
Who pays for return shipping
We do. For every eligible return, we arrange a pre-paid courier pickup from your address — there is no return-shipping charge to you. Please don't ship items back on your own without a pickup arranged by us, as we can't reimburse self-arranged courier costs.
Section 07
Replacement or refund?
Eligible returns are replaced with the same item, shipped fresh. We issue a refund only when the same item is genuinely no longer available.
When a refund applies, it goes back to your original payment method. Full refund timelines, Cash-on-Delivery token rules and bank processing times are in the Refund & Replacement Policy.
Section 08
Refurbished & repaired items
Refurbished items are graded and sold under their own policy with a 6-month dealbyu warranty. The 7-day "damaged on arrival" return rule above applies to them as the first window; cosmetic wear that was disclosed in the grade is not a valid return reason.

Section 09
Cancelling before dispatch
You can cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it, as long as it hasn't been packed for dispatch — use the cancellation link in your order confirmation, or message us with your order ID. Any amount paid is refunded in full to the original payment method.
