7-day replacement, free pickup, no fine print.
If a new product arrives damaged, dead-on-arrival, or wrongly shipped, we replace it for free within 7 days of delivery. Pre-paid pickup, no shipping cost on you. After 7 days, the manufacturer's warranty takes over — we help you find the right service centre. Refurbished items have their own policy, linked below.

Section 01
Plain-English summary
- • 7 days, from delivery, to raise a claim on damaged / non-working / wrong new products.
- • Replacement only. Same SKU, shipped fresh. Refunds are issued only if the same SKU is no longer available.
- • We pay return shipping. Pre-paid pickup arranged through Shiprocket / Delhivery — free for you.
- • Unboxing video required. Single take, package + serial-sticker visible, recorded within 24 hours of delivery.
- • After day 7 on a new product, the manufacturer's warranty applies — we help you reach their service centre.
- • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on new products.
- • Refurbished items have their own dedicated policy (linked below).
- • Repair workmanship is warrantied for 30 days from the date the device is returned to you.
Section 02
What's covered (and what's not)
Covered — file a claim within 7 days of delivery:
- Product arrives physically damaged in shipping (cracked screen, dented body, broken accessories).
- Product is dead on arrival — won't power on, fails first-boot, has factory defects discoverable on day-one use.
- Product is the wrong SKU — different model, different colour, different storage / RAM, missing main accessories the listing promised.
- Sealed-box tamper on a new product, when the unboxing video is recorded as instructed.
Not covered:
- Defects or failures that show up after the 7-day window on new products — these are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (see Section 05).
- Damage caused after delivery — drops, liquid damage, voltage spikes, software issues from third-party apps, attempted self-repair, removed warranty seals.
- Normal wear and tear on cables, batteries (beyond first-boot DOA) and consumables.
- "Change of mind" — you bought it and decided you didn't want it anymore. See Section 06.
- Cosmetic complaints on refurbished items where condition is graded and disclosed up-front. Those are governed by Section 07.
- Claims raised without a single-take unboxing video where one was required.
Section 03
How to claim — step by step
- Record an unboxing video within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. Single take, no cuts, showing (a) the courier package and shipping label, (b) opening the seal, (c) the device serial sticker, and (d) the issue you're reporting. Upload to Google Drive / YouTube unlisted / WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp us at +91 80511 11117 or email support@dealbyu.com with the order ID and a link to the video. We confirm receipt within 1 working day.
- We arrange free pickup via Shiprocket / Delhivery. Pack the item in original packaging with all accessories, the original invoice copy, and any seals / stickers intact. We email you the AWB / tracking number.
- We inspect on receipt. Our technician verifies the issue against your video. We share the inspection note within 2 working days of receiving the device at our Bokaro service centre.
- We dispatch the replacement within 3 working days of inspection. Tracking shared on WhatsApp / email. Same SKU as ordered. If the same SKU is genuinely unavailable, we refund to the original payment method instead.
If our inspection finds that the issue isn't covered (e.g. impact damage, software-only issue, attempted self-repair), we'll share photos and the reason, and ship the device back to you free of charge.
Section 04
Timelines you can count on
- Claim acknowledgement: 1 working day after you message us.
- Pickup arranged: 1–2 working days after acknowledgement.
- Pickup → our service centre: 2–5 working days (depends on courier and your location).
- Inspection note shared: within 2 working days of arrival.
- Replacement dispatch: within 3 working days of inspection.
- Refund (if applicable): initiated within 3 working days; reaches your account within 7–10 working days depending on the bank / payment method.
Section 05
After day 7 — manufacturer warranty
For brand-new products, after the 7-day replacement window all warranty claims are handled directly by the product manufacturer through their authorised service network. This is the standard model used by every major Indian e-commerce retailer for new branded products.
Your in-box paperwork includes (a) the brand's warranty card, (b) the brand's customer-care number, and (c) a serial / IMEI number that the brand uses to look up your warranty. Your dealbyu invoice is also a valid proof of purchase for warranty claims.

Exception: items that we have refurbished, repaired or assembled in-house are covered by a dealbyu warranty (see Sections 07, 08 and 09). For those, the warranty claim comes straight to us — not the brand.
Section 06
Change-of-mind returns
We don't accept returns for change-of-mind on new products. Once your order is delivered intact and matches what you ordered, the order is final.
We know this is stricter than a clothing store — there's a reason. Electronics depreciate the moment a sealed box is opened, and resealed-and-relisted units harm the next customer's experience. By holding this line, we keep new-box prices honest for everyone.

Section 07
Refurbished items
Refurbished items are sold under a separate policy because they've been through our in-house workshop. Each unit is graded A / B / C with transparent inspection notes, battery-health percentage where applicable, and a 6-month dealbyu warranty.
If a refurbished unit fails within the 6-month dealbyu warranty for any reason other than physical damage caused after delivery, message us — we repair, replace, or refund at our discretion. The 7-day "damage on arrival" rule above also applies to refurbished items as the first window.
Section 08
Repair workmanship
All repairs done by dealbyu carry a 30-day workmanship warranty from the date the device is returned to you. If the same fault recurs within 30 days due to our workmanship, we re-do the repair at no charge.
Replaced parts (screens, batteries, drives, etc.) carry whatever warranty the part vendor offers — typically 6–12 months on screens and batteries, longer on storage. The warranty terms for the replaced parts are stated on your repair invoice.

Section 09
Cancellations (before dispatch)
You may cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it, provided the order has not yet been packed for dispatch. After 1 hour or after packing, cancellation is at our discretion. To cancel:
- use the cancellation link in your order confirmation, or
- WhatsApp +91 80511 11117 or email support@dealbyu.com immediately with your order ID.
We may cancel an order at our end before dispatch if we identify a stock outage, pricing error, payment-verification issue, or suspected fraud. In all such cases we refund any amount paid in full to the original payment method within 7 working days.
Section 10
Cash on Delivery — special rules
Orders below ₹5,000: full COD available, no online payment required. Pay the courier on delivery in cash.
Orders of ₹5,000 or more: COD is available with a non-refundable 20% online token paid at checkout. The remaining 80% is collected by the courier on delivery. The token covers our pick-pack-and-ship cost when a high-value parcel is rejected at the door without a valid reason.
A "valid reason" for refusing a COD parcel includes: damage on arrival, tampered packaging, wrong product visible from the courier label or unboxing — i.e. anything that would qualify under Section 02. In those cases the token is refunded along with any other amount you've paid.
An "invalid reason" includes: change of mind, address issues you didn't update in time, unable to receive the parcel without rescheduling. In those cases the 20% token is forfeited and no further amount is owed by you.
Section 11
Pricing errors & order corrections
We try hard to keep prices accurate but mistakes happen. If we identify a pricing error after you've placed an order but before dispatch, we'll contact you with two options: confirm the corrected price and proceed, or cancel and refund in full. We will not dispatch at the wrong price without your explicit go-ahead.
