Refurbished doesn't have to mean “bought as-is, hope for the best”. Every laptop, mobile, computer, and component refurbished by dealbyu carries a real 6-month warranty — plus a 7-day damage-on-arrival window, free pickup-and-replace, and battery health printed transparently on the listing.
What's covered
6-month dealbyu warranty
Every refurbished product is covered for 6 months from delivery. If a covered fault appears, we repair, replace, or refund — at our discretion, your call on which option works best.
7-day damage-on-arrival window
If the device arrives damaged, dead, or wildly different from the listing, file a claim within 7 days with a single-take unboxing video and we'll replace or refund — pre-paid pickup, free for you.
Battery health, printed on the listing
Every laptop, mobile, and tablet listing shows the measured battery health (e.g., 92%). We never hide this number behind a 'condition grade'.
Free pickup-and-replace, all India
Within the warranty window, we send Delhivery to collect the device anywhere in India. No shipping cost on you, no inflated 'service fee'.
Covered
- Hardware failures not caused by physical damage after delivery (motherboard, battery, screen, ports, charging logic, etc.).
- Discrepancies between what was promised on the listing (RAM, storage, battery, accessories) and what arrived.
- DOA — won't power on, fails first-boot, factory defects discoverable on day-one use.
- Original-component failures during normal usage (the screen panel, internal SSD/HDD that came in the unit, etc.).
Not covered
- Physical damage caused after delivery — drops, liquid spills, voltage spikes, attempted self-repair.
- Cosmetic complaints on a 'cosmetic grade' that was disclosed in the listing (e.g., "Grade B — visible scratches" can't later be claimed as a fault).
- Software / OS issues unrelated to hardware (third-party app crashes, OS reinstalls, malware).
- Wear of consumables beyond expected drift in the warranty period (battery health drop within the disclosed range, cable fraying).
- Damage from unauthorized modification — opening the device or removing manufacturer / dealbyu seals.
How to claim — start to finish

- We diagnose remotely or pick it up
Many issues we can talk through on WhatsApp in under 10 minutes. If hands-on inspection is needed, we book a free Delhivery pickup to our facility in Bokaro Steel City.
- Repair, replace, or refund
We aim to repair within 7 working days. If the same SKU is unavailable for replacement, we offer either a comparable model or a full refund to your original payment method.
- Device returned
Once the work is done — or the refund is processed — we ship the device back to you free of cost. Workmanship of any repair done in this window carries a 30-day warranty separate from the original 6-month cover.
